The project involved the demolition of existing buildings and maintenance of a retained façade fronting onto Knightsbridge. A new structure inserted behind the façade and refurbishment of two buildings in William Street, will provide high quality residential, office and retail space.
Blue Sky Building’s role was to oversee the piling and associated works. These works included adjustment of the existing retained façade system to enable the piling to be completed. Full logistics, monitoring of noise, dust, vibration and movement of existing buildings and erection of a new façade access scaffold. This enabled the client to procure a new main contractor, whilst maintaining progress of the project.
