Blue Sky Building initially provided pre-construction advice to the Client, to establish the optimum programme for the project, which entailed detailed consideration of the phasing and sequencing of the works to minimise the disruption that the new construction would have on the daily life of the College.
We also provided advice to establish the main contractor procurement route, which satisfied the College’s required criteria but at the same time secured interest in the market place.
Blue Sky Building undertook the role of Project Manager and Employer’s Agent.
In our role as Project Manager, we were the focal point of the Client team and our duties included the establishment of the Employer’s Requirements, oversaw the pre-qualification and subsequent appointment of the main contractor and undertook the role of Client advisor during the course of the project.
